Menu is 80% a lie. The food doesn’t even look close to the one shown in the menu. The Breakfast Champion looks like a western food come out from mamak stall. Nothing special. Taste normal. Disappointed.

It is spacious, comfy and good ambience. We went there for breakfast in late morning.we ordered one club sandwich, breakfast in bed( pouched eggs), flat white and Americano. We found their coffee are ok. But we don’t really fond their food and Food waiting period are long. Club sandwich is one of the chef recommended food. This sandwich served with French fries and chillies sauce. I find their sandwiches are extremely dry and tasteless. Taste of French fries just normal. I found their chillies sauce just too liquid and tasteless , as well, it doesn’t match well with French fries and sandwich, indeed.dont get me wrong, Personally I love thicker flavour chillies sauce.however, I found no surprise from this sandwich.Their pouched eggs are kinda of overcooked, yolks ain’t as runny as what we expect .Last, No greeting from their service crew when walked in.
Wood and Steel has had quite a great reputation so far, with their latest addition at the Damansara Uptown. This one is well received for their appealing dishes and like the previous establishments, this one is with lovely finishing of wood and steel artwork as well. There are creative tables and chairs, with opulent framed art covering most of the spaces of the walls, and improbably friendly staffs.
They used to have the best menu, and then they changed it. Seems like food quality is going downhill because of that. Hoping they bring back the old menu
