Since 1977, Madam Kwan has always focussed on bringing Malaysian cuisine to everyone who would like to enjoy hawker or wok style treats in the comfort of a cafe-style restaurant. As per today, Madam Kwan is a successful chain restaurant with the comfort of a modern cafe ambience which serves a tantalizing uniquely created Malaysian Cuisine.

Well, I had my brunch at empire malls madam kwan after done grocery. This is a Malaysian cuisine restaurant, as everyone know. Famous with their nasi lemak and banana fritter.I cant order much since alone. I ordered one Ipoh hoay fun soup, which a thumb up sign stated in their menu: chef recommended.Good ambience but the hoay fun really pull me down. Hoay fun are fresh, soup are hot. It served with taugeh, spring onion and two prawn. Yet, taste of this hoay fun soup didn’t on par with their price ( it costs me RM 19).How disappointed! I neither don’t smell much prawn shell’s oil from the soup nor heavier chicken broth. It just clear , tasteless. This is my second here, as well,my second time to have this hoay fun at this store. Still, taste is same.I think I really have to choose other from their menu instead of hoay fun soup.
