We get my ramen fix here. It’s typically Hokkaido style ramen with strong taste, which may not go down well for some but we like it that way. The staff will offer to add some soup to water down the strong taste for free. A small place with limited seats like a typical ramen bar in Japan. The portion is rather small for the price you pay so this is considered a mid-range restaurant. Still beats flying all the way to Japan. One of the best ramen I’ve tasted in Malaysia. You may add toppings such as butter and corn, and more. There are other dishes apart from ramen, such as rice dishes and gyoza. Service is friendly. A nice place to eat at Sunway Pyramid. It’s outside of the main building, at the link to Clio Hotel.
Burnt garlic ramen RM27, gyoza (6pcs) RM 13. Super delicious meal. Noddles about 120gram, i think portion can be improved to be bigger. They served authentic hokkaido ramen taste which is saltier than usual. Ask for more soup before ordering if u want milder broth.
Menya Miyabi, a well-known ramen restaurant originated from Hokkaido has gained its fame in Hokkaido when their first release of Yaki-Miso Ramen, and now they have three branches in Hokkaido and a few more outlets around Malaysia to serve their ramen fans. . The chef insisted the taste of the ramen has to be exactly the same as the one they sell in Hokkaido. Hence, most of the ingredients are imported from Hokkaido and the ramen noodles are made daily from their own recipe hands down for generations.
