What’s worst was when this was highlighted to the management via email, a lukewarm / defensive reply was given, brushing it off by saying they do send their pillows for wash regularly and even blamed the weather that is “beyond their control”. Disappointing.
Great studying cafe! Love their selection of coffees and teas + bonus the staff are the sweetest! There’s both outdoor and indoor seating and limited parking.
Easy to find the place. Coffee was great & I’d no problem with it. The food, however, was something else. Ordered Egg Royale. Was a tad disappointed with the amount of smoked salmon (so tiny portion). The eggs didnt taste fresh. There’s a rubbery taste/feel to it? The buns were toasted greatly on the outside but the inside was almost soaked with margarine (just like those roadside burger). One of the buns even had some sort of marmalade (was it supposed to be there??) Finished half and when I was cutting trough the second one, I found a hair. Brought the food back to the staff. They gladly replaced the item but I asked for a refund. Since I paid using Fave, they offered to refund with a slice of cake (Burnt cheesecake, tasted okay, a tad sweet fr me). Service was okay, I guess? Great atmosphere. Great coffee. Food was only so-so. Maybe be a little bit more hygienic when preparing food? Giving 3 stars for the coffee and very helpful staffs. Nice and cosy environment. Their coffee and cheesecake is a definite recommend. I had spaghetti bolognese which was good, with lots of sauce and meat. Parking wasn’t a problem for me but you can double in front of the shop and just inform the counter. BTW, you need to pick up your own food
