This is my second visit my first visit was 4 years ago obviously first visit didn’t impress me. Because of my friend I’m visited again! This time I tried the pork burger (highly recommend by my friend) the pork patty quite juicy overall not too bad. We also tried the salmon pizza I’m not really like it I don’t think salmon suit pizza
I passed by this place several times and am always attracted by its clean design and varied menu. In fact, IÂ have tried KISSATEN a couple of times. The menu has a mix of Japanese, Chinese and Western cuisines. You’ll find grilled fish, sashimi, noodles, burger, rice and various beverages including coffees, smoothies and alcoholic drinks. The lunch crowd is quite heavy so it might be better to avoid the peak hours. I opted for a lunch set which comes with a mix of items. The Fried Oyster set comes with a dipping sauce that went well with the bowl of rice provided. I felt the medium-sized oysters weren’t overly fresh and the breaded coating was tad thick.
Kissaten. It sure has a Japanese spelling to it, but in actual fact, the restaurant serves fusion food. According to the restaurant’s blog, Kissaten means café in Japanese. The menu features Japanese food, along with local favourites such as lam mee and koay teow soup, amongst others. A visit on two separate occasions proved that the food is certainly delectable. On the first visit, we ordered Teriyaki Pork Burger, RM10.90, Char Siew Pizza, RM23.90.
