The food is authentic Indian food. They offer both indoors and outdoors seating, personally I prefer outdoor because it can get a little stuffy indoors. The service and food are mediocre.

Been here plenty of times and returned again let’s say after 4 years. Actually, more so since we have just visited the friend at University Hospital and since hunger was killing and offhand we couldn’t think of any other eatery, we arrived at about 1.45pm. Packed like crazy the restaurant, at first we sat at the pavement but none of the workers noticed us. So, we walked in and managed to squeeze at the long table with other customers side by side. And if you sit beside a loud speaker, the free stories you will hear. Anyway, being a loud speaker myself, I didn’t dare say anything. Otherwise, my story would have been “live telecast”. Food for lunch, the standard banana leaf package – rice, curries, veggies, papadam, rasam, morru/yoghurt etc etc. The extra sides – chicken varuval, mutton parathal and fried ikan bulus. For drinks, bru coffee and the tarik. We ate, paid around RM48.00 (for 3 people) and left feeling so-so. Well, everything was mechanical/robotic. You sit, the workers will quickly do their jobs, the tray with the sides comes by, pick your choice and eat while customers who have just walked in will stand around and crowd the dining area hoping you will finish off your meal soon and vacate the table. Speak about service with a smile??
