The smell of freshly baked cookies lured me in, and I ended up filling a tray with purchases. The thin crispy chocolate cookie did not survive the way home, it was so delicious I ended up inhaling it in one sitting – not too sweet, crispy texture and delicious aroma.The honey cakes (similar to the look of madeleines, but texture wise were more like ladyfingers) are delicious with hot tea or coffee and good to share if you buy the large tub. Runaway hit for me was the chicken curry puff pastry. The flaky crust was the perfect container for the rich and creamy chicken curry that had aromatic spices but balanced beautifully flavor wise.I’m a sucker for baked goods, and would love to try Bee’s other items next time I am in KL.
