A glorious delight hidden in the industrial maze of Glenmarie. While Meng Kee is slightly pricier than your average hawker, they serve up tantalizing charsiew that melts in your mouth. Honey-glazed and charcoal roasted, this is the staple of the lunch hour crowd that packs the restaurant daily. I have to say it again: DO NOT LEAVE THIS STORE WITHOUT TASTING THE CHARSIEW! Other than their blockbuster dish, Meng Kee also does the usual 大炒, which I hadn’t the opportunity to taste. However, given that their white boiled chicken and Roasted Sausages are equally sumptuous, don’t hesitate to order any other items of personal preference.
