Seriously yummy hot, flavorful and spicy Negeri/Padang styled food in such a unique way of eating. Imagine having 8-12 variety of small plates of dishes served and eaten in a family style, its almost like a Malaysian tapas. Savor a 31 choices of lauk (dishes in Malay): beef rendang, fried ayam kampong, duck egg gulai, gulai pucuk paku, gulai tunjang, gulai dagging cincang, dendeng, talapia belado, tempe, cili ijau, belado hijau, belado merah and so much more. The taste of the food is of Indonesian origin of course, but has found its way to adapt into one of Malaysia’s state, and hence becoming part of Malaysian cuisine. There is many similar character to Nasi padang (Padang cuisine) of Indonesia, where miniature banquet of meats, fish, vegetables, and spicy sambals is eaten with plain white rice. The food is also quite spicy, so I would be careful to not order spicy things on a first dry and warm ones way up to the spicy level. Must try items includes : gulai tunjang RM 9.50 ( beef cartilage soupy curry- a little gelatinous yet very tasty) , gulai pucuk paku RM 5 (very healthy and the sauce is lightly creamy and spicy), duck egg gulai RM3 ( delicious poached duck egg in a yellow based curry), fried ayam kampong RM 7.50 (very juicy and aromatically marinated) and fried cat fish RM 7 (fatty and creamy flesh). All the dishes is served in small plates and family style (to be shared by everyone). Price is per portion, and can be accommodated for individuals, small groups or larger groups. The average price is anywhere from RM 30-RM 100 for a family of 5 depending on what you order. I honestly feel that everyone should condiment their food with the belado hijau, its spicy, sweet, slight sour and salty. Very flavorful indeed. There is plenty of seating inside and also outside of the restaurant. The parking can be a little crazy during weekdays since there is only street parking nearby. But fortunately on weekends there is plenty of street parking nearby. The restaurant is located next to Klinik Pakar Sukan, and is along the road to the Subang Parade, its just right before subang parade right in front of the huge tall apartments, in the shop-lots.
