We ordered Beef (the RM75 one), the ddeokbokki, the kimchi ramen & cold green tea. The beef is expensive but nice to eat, albeit a bit painful as the portion’s small. The kimchi ramen is the worst. Super plain & you might as share that bowl with a friend to lessen your pain. The ddeokbokki was okay and had a spicier kick than the ramen. Green tea was RM3 but refillable. Service is so-so, we sat at the area where you could remove your shoes but all the waiters were chilling at the counter near the dining area at the door, so we had to wait a bit for the waiter to pass by so that we can call them. You won’t be grilling or BBQ-ing much or at all. Clean restaurant, overall. The banchan was nice, kimchi was okay too.Probably my last time being there as other BBQ place is much more nicer in terms of price and food.
Took the bibimbap and kimchi soup, I would say they’re not bad. Also, ordered the pork dakgalbi, the serving was big. There’re many refillable side dishes but most of them taste ordinary. Have not tried their BBQ though.
I’ve figured out. To entertain my Australian counterparts, simple can be. Take them to any eateries and they will love the food and love you also. Previously I took the young handsome man to Restaurant Abirami and he wouldn’t stop thanking me. Today, despite being busy marking hundreds of answer scripts and trying my level best to pass the students, out of convenience, I took Brian to the nearest Da Sa Rang. Such a crawling distance from the office, soon we were already seated in this Korean restaurant. Brian didn’t mind I took charge of ordering, so I called for bibimbap and grilled pork shoulder and green tea has to be the drink.
Situated across the ever busy main road of Subang Jaya and besides McDonalds, Da Sa Rang I have certainly noticed. Well, office is just a walking distance away and I also walk up and down this area at least lets say once a week. However it took me more than two years before I actually lunched here with the same two colleagues (Restaurant Esquire Kitchen) because my half-half and other colleagues were not keen in Korean food. Anyway, that aside, upon arrival at the restaurant and looking through the menu, instead of the charcoal grilled bbq and between the wide range of individual dishes. we ordered Dolsot-Bibim-Bap, Gamja- Jjigare and Kinchi-Ramyeon.
