I’ve always wanted to try Raj’s Banana Leaf but haven’t had an opportunity since around 2 weeks ago. Note that the branch I went to was the Ampang Point branch, not ss15. Time of visit was around 8.30-9pm. Perhaps because it was late, the taste of the curries didn’t have much of a flavour, as if it was watered down. Didn’t really fulfill the punch needed when eating curry. The fried chicken was hot and freshly fried but unfortunately lacked seasoning as well. Side vegetables were okay but nothing spectacular. A bit disappointing for a first time visit, it’s probably better to visit during the day as the dishes are probably freshly made and bot watered down yet.

I loved the banana leaf spread here! Will definitely come back again and this is my new go to banana leaf spot after Nirwana in Taipan . Also I loved the fact that their chicken 65 was freshly cooked and juicy just yummy!
