  With Asia Cafe now closed, I thought that this row of shops would be thriving. Turned out that the dinner crowd is quite low, almost non-existent. We were rather hungry and this looked decent enough. Lots of Western variety. Best part was most of the items were below RM 20.  Grilled chicken. This took exceptionally long that I wonder if they had to slaughter the chicken first. It was almost well worth the wait as the herb marinade was nice. Fries were a little overfried. Salad was just random greens throw together with a splash of balsamic vinegar dressing. A thumbs up if not for the small portion of meat.

  Although some tend to look down on a place frequented by students, Salute is different. Service is courteous and helpful, while the food is tasty and often better than larger restaurants. It’s very good value for money.

  Let’s start by saying the portion is huge. 1 plate of pasta is 2 person’s serving in my opinion. What are you bitches complaining about. You get what you paid for. For Rm15 this pasta is decent and lovely. If you want authentic meatballs marinara sauce with delicate cherry tomato and tomato paste you should have gone to a high class restaurant plating at Rm35+ each. This restaurant is not only budget friendly but tasty too.

  Love their seafood aglio olio spaghetti and their chicken lasagne! I always come here for these two dishes! Their portions are pretty fair and prices are reasonable. Very student-friendly. ♥️
