Glorious hawker food in a lively neighborhood. Tien Tien Fatt is located on the main road leading to USJ. Many of the stalls have been around for more than 5 years, so the average standard is pretty impressive, even for the pork noodles run by foreigners. The ban mee is given a special touch by the owner, and is distinct from the usual. Other delicacies include stored kuey tiow, equally awesome, dai chao, and during the day, mixed rice. I would recommend the Tom Yum ban mee, for those spicy lovers. Otherwise, the pork noodles are more than meets the eyes. The design of the hawker center deserves a mention. With two sides fully opened along a narrow rectangular area, the premise creates an airy atmosphere while not being fully exposed like a roadside stall. Passing cars are few, and coupled with a cohesive group of hawkers, Tien Tien Fatt provides an uncommon but ultimately comfortable place for nice local food.
