The Fortress Wine & Dine is located right on the perimeter of the charming bay of Xemxija, a quieter town situated between St. Paul's Bay and Mellieha. Starting from June 2015, we are now offering shuttle service through restaurantshuttlemalta - pay only 1.50 per person to get from your hotel or accommodation in the North to our wine bar!! The actual building is an original three hundred year old Fortress that was used as a Gun Battery. The result of its stylish revamp is an evocative venue full of modern character. The wine list is extensive with an assortment of over 170 varieties representing all the essential wine regions of the world. Complimenting the wine list is a varied, delectable menu of international platters from Sushi to French cheeses, Chinese to Greek Meze just to name a few.On a balmy summer night, the large terrace overlooking the idyllic bay is the perfect setting for a fine glass of wine, with a choice of seating including sofas or even private gazebos for relaxed dining.
