Route 81 the old bus route which was used to transport thousands of Maltese and tourists from the City of Valletta to Saqqajja Hill in Rabat. Combining this with the belief that good food starts from its root, was the inspiration for the name of this charming restaurant Root 81. Nested on the side stairway leading up to Rabat, enjoying impressive views, is Root 81.
