Situated next to the Theatre (hence the name) the Cafe Du Theatre Restaurant has been serving its customers for 2 years now. The theatre of Port Louis has during 2 centuries contributed to the happiness of Mauritians of all ages and communities. It is a treasure of architecture built in 1822 by French architect Poujade under the instruction of the gOvernor Sir Robert Farquhar. It is one of the first theaters constructed in the South Hemisphere.
