Didn’t really enjoy the food all that much here. I enjoy authentic Mexican food but it just wasn’t great here. Food was soggy, unflavorful or overcooked. However it was a busy place. Maybe our group just had a bad experience.
$57 lunch for nine, with great sopes, enchiladas, tamales, aguas frescas. Low key, nice, local spot with lots of local folks having lunch (looks like the menudo was the choice for locals). No turistas in sight, but an English language menu.
I was referred here by some friends who said it’s the best breakfast they tried in Ensenada. I beg to differ! The chorizo and eggs had little chorizo. The beans were less than spectacular. The best part? Sadly just the tortillas.
