Mel's Restaurant Bar in Ajijic is located in an exquisite garden setting where guests can enjoy all the luxuries of a glorious Mexican hacienda, their visit made deliciously relaxing when enjoying the vista and food at a leisurely pace. Mel's is named after our daughter ... it's a very special place. We offer international cuisine and are proud to have our chef Bernard who is from a long line of family chefs from Europe. Each Sunday Mel's sets out a wonderful buffet and guests can stay as long as they wish and eat to their hearts content. Music fills the air when live groups seranade on the patio. There's lots of parking available on the street and we keep inside spaces for those who need ramps and handicapped parking. We strive to be the best we can be, because this is a special place.
