Under new ownership in 2015, and remolded twice; (completed immediately before Hurricane Patricia, and then redone again after) this is a lovely spot to enjoy an evening beverage and bask in the sunset. This is the quintessential tropical paradise beach bar. Located on the isolated, furthest south end of beach, complete with two palapa roofed areas overlooking the ocean, lots of greenery and magically twinkling lights after dark. The Bambu Sunset Bar offers a small menu of everything-from-scratch dishes, such as Southern-style Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Jamaican Cod Fish Fritters, Roasted Garlic Guacamole with Sauteed Shrimp, and Homemade Carrot Cake. You can have French Champagne by the glass, or indulge in the best-selling drink, the Sunset Margarita. Other favorites are the Jamaican Yellow Bird, the Mango Colada, and the Ultimate Chocolate Martini, made with Chocolate Tequila, Absolut Vodka, Bailey's and Kahlua! There's also a nice selection of tequilas, vodkas (Grey Goose, Belvedere, and others), not to mention after dinner drinks; Remy Martin Cognac, Grand Marnier, and Port.Details
