El Sol y la Luna is a family business founden on 1978. Since its origins it has been one of the most important cultural centers of the city with art exhibitions and concerts. Some of the artists that have had shows here are: Rufino Tamayo, Francisco Toledo, Rodolfo Morales, Juan Alcazar and Diego Rivera. As a music venue, the place has a long history with performances with Lila Downs, Csar Olgun, Son de Madera, Los Vega, Antropleo, among others
