About
Crafted out of a historic downtown Cozumel home, Jacinta will surprise your palate with their traditional Yucatan dishes enhanced with a modern global touch. The original structure, which was built by a Great grandfather in 1949, was completely renovated. The original pasta mosaic floors and high ceilings have been preserved. Behind the structure, an entire terrace - using architectural recreations has been created for covered outdoor dining. Additionally, there is a private dining area and a small gift shop stocked with artisanal wares, including handmade soaps and embroidered linens. The menu offers a variety of lighter and hearty fare: making it perfect for lunch, dinner or a late night meal, and includes beef, pork, poultry and fresh seafood. Many of the dishes, such as the Duck Panuchos, feature a traditional menu item, in this case a panucho, with a heightened twist, as in the addition of the pulled duck in tomato sauce. The entirely new open air kitchen also offers new spins on traditional esquites, marquesas and even street-style gelados.
