Mariscos Bahia

About

On January 11, 1950 Alejandro Flores Curlango opened Ostionería Bahía on Belisario Dominguez street directly across the street from the railway office (Ferrocarriles de México). At that time seafood was generally sold from carts and baskets located outside canteens at the the Port of Mazatlan. It was not always a safe place for women and children. It was generally considered a tradition that after 11:00 Sunday Mass , family and friends gathered and shared ceviche del bahia.
