They specialize in Sonoran cuisine specifically from Bacanora. That means beef even though the menu has acceptable seafood. The beef dishes were excellent but not what you would get at a Mexican chain restaurant in the US. Be sure to try the famous Bacanoran tequila.
Excellent, unique, tasty, authentic Mexican food in a town that’s in desperate need of it! We’d give this place six stars if we could. Friendly service and a nice view of the marina as well.
My wife and I spend 7 months a year in Puerto Penasco and have enjoyed Bacanora’s excellent food and wonderful service for two years now. They always have new additions to their menu and there is always a great choice for everyone to enjoy.
