I had tamarind leaves with river fish curry which came with rice for 5,800ks or ~4USD. It was delicious and the tamarind leaves were interesting. It was my first time to try it. Awesome value for money.
Had excellent food, although service really lacked basic english skills. The wine complementing the food was sweet wine which was a shame
Lift your game. Place was empty when I arrived. I know why now. Host was disinterested in service. Beer is advertised for wrong price. Don’t go here.

Bagan is a popular destination with people visiting Myanmar (once called Burma). We dined at this restaurant, it’s casual dress with a good range of food. Myanmar gets some bad press from time to time, but the locals are friendly.
