While on a tour traveling through India our guide took us here for lunch. Great place upstairs sat right in the window with a view of the stupa and square. Very attentive staff. Would recommend a stop here if you are in the area.
The local guides may point you to this place. It is not so great, just average. You will get Nepali meals here which are good. Ask for freshly cooked veggies and dal.

We were a group of 16, and went here for lunch. Everything was tasty, and they were able to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. The vegetables, in particular, were excellent. Good location, and pleasant service.
Nice Ambiance if you can sit by the window. The free wifi made up for any shortcomings. We enjoyed ourselves
I went there while visiting Kathmandu. The food was great, and so was the service, along with the view! highly recommended
