Embracing a 16th century theme of traditional architecture of the Newars, the original inhabitants of Kathmandu Valley established in 2010, Black Pepper Caf and Pub Pvt. Ltd.(BPCP) restaurant, located at Kopundole Height, Lalitpur. The house, built in 1972 A.D. in a traditional design with artistically crafted wooden windows and entrance door, consists of an intricately carved stone-spout, locally known as 'Lwanhan Hiti', flowing water continuously at its garden area. A pleasant bright restaurant. A varied menu of local and international dishes. The thali dishes were very good. Service was good.
They do serve nice food, but the service can be painfully slow even if you are just going for a drink. Never very busy, probably as it is quite expensive.
