Here at the Ace Cafe Food-Kart, we believe that food is the essence of life. We aim to serve fresh, authentic and delicious dishes every time you visit. However, good food is only one thing we do well. We're a social enterprise operating on a triple bottom line model to benefit people, planet, and profit... Because if we're not part of the solution, we're part of the problem! PEOPLE: "If we can conquer space, we can conquer hunger." Ace Cafe is an inclusive community to relax away from the hubbub of Thamel. We treat our staff fairly and donate food to stop kids going hungry. PLANET: We endeavour to minimise waste by donating uneaten food. Most of our ingredients are sourced locally with 'low food miles'. We offer an assortment of plant-based meals that are good for you and the planet. PEOPLE, PLANET, AND PROFIT: Every few months we select three charities in need of support. Each time you purchase a meal, we'll give you a counter to drop into the charity box of your choice. At the end of the month, we donate 10% of profits on your behalf. Know a great charity?
