Kumas Bowl is a great lunchtime or easy dinner spot. You can get a nice Japanese dinner and miso soup for under $15 and its great. Its fast easy and cheap. Recommend the Spicy Miso Katsu!
We like Japanese food especially the Donburi style of eating, so after reading some very good reviews we tried Kumas Bowl in Albany this week. The cafe is small and has limited seating, but ideal for takeaway meals. The menu offers a number of very tempting options and after some deliberation we went for the chilli Pork with noodles, Egg Katsu Chicken, gyozas, and potato Katsu. Both the main dishes were substantial, very tasty and well worth the cost. The gyoza were absolutely excellent, crispy and delicious, the best that we have tasted. The potato Katsu (2) were fabulous.Overall very good food and value for money.
Really enjoyed the two times I have come to Kumas bowl. Really tasty food and good prices. I tried the Katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken and karaage chicken which were all delicious. Definitely coming back again!
