Absolutely fantastic!The spicy shichuan chicken consists of 3 types of spices, the chicken is tender and the chicken skin has a slight gelatinous crunchy texture to it!The salted duck was very very nice, very simple, very healthy and very yummy. The Xiaolongbao is absolutely next level. The soup inside was WOW. Everyone at our tables eyes lit up right away. Smoked pork dish is smoked with manuka leaves for 10 hours and provides and very rich tasty smell. Have it with layers of veges provided for the best mouth taste. The deep fried pork ribs marinated perfectly and tasty garlic flavour but not too strong, preped just right. Dessert black sugar jelly is very good, I shouldve take away some. I will do next time. The soy milk is home made fresh and not too sweet. Drink it like normal milk after the spicy dishes to neutralise the taste buds like a refreshment to eat the next dish. And xiaolongbao really delicious too, can taste the fresh meat inside. Garlic pork ribs super tasty, highly recommend this dishblack sugar jelly dessert taste pretty refresh after eating all these oil meat dishes, i will definitely come back to eat, garden view makes me relax, staffs are all polite and friendly. This might be my favorite chinese restaurant in North shore.
We were visiting the furniture store nearby and noticed this place, so gave it a try. We’re the only customer on a weekday dinner time! Must be a reason for that huh. We ordered a cumin lamb with bun and a stir fried cabbage. Food came pretty quick obviously as there wasn’t other customer. Taste was kinda average, nothing exciting compared to other restaurants that make same dishes. We expect the cabbage to be more spicy as this is a Sichuan restaurant but it turned out totally mild. They gave us free soy bean drink but it only made the impression worst as I can get better one from Asian grocery store, needless to say if compare to my homemade one. For such average food and much higher price, I don’t see any reason to come back again. We even being charged tea-bit fee! So free soy bean was just a joke. If you don’t care about money and just wanted a quiet garden view then this is the place for you.
