Stopped by for take away tonight. Service was fast and friendly. My partner ordered the Duck vegetable stir fry which he said was very nice. I ordered the Beef Pad man mun hoi. My first mouthfull all I could taste was washing up liquid, it was the oddest taste sensation, I had a few bits of beef (not much beef in anyway counted a total of 6 pieces) and pretty much gave up, Asked my partner to taste it and he gave me a funny look.. I didn’t realise his mouth literally went numb and he couldn’t breath. Something odd had caused him to react He said he literally couldn’t feel his mouth and lost all sensation. Definately something chemical in that meal. We ended up throwing it out. Sorry but won’t be back in a hurry.Only giving them a 1.5 for the friendliness. Partner recommended it, but even he said after 20 odd years, he won’t be back.In all fairness he did call to get an explanation but nothing explained and the waitress talked over the top of him and tried to offer him a credit but no thank you.
This place is so cute and tucked away! They had really good vegan options and the food was extremely well-priced- $9.99 for a good potion plus rice! The food was tasty too. The waitress was really sweet and overall I will be back. Oh and also, our rice came in the shape of a heart so who wouldn’t want to come here honestly?! Love it
