I think they got the best spicy cod fish in Auckland. I live in central Auckland, rosedale is a bit far for me. But i’ll definitely come back to eat that fish again. Amd they got the Hunan black sticky tofu which taste quite nice. Environment is pretty good, not fine dining type but makes people feel eat at home. Staffs are all super polite and helpful. Even their tea is the good quality tea, not the cheap tea like other chinese restaurants. Love here so much

Very nice. The best best thing was the dim sum salted duck. Omg it was tender, the tenderness for a fully cooked duck at a whole new level. Perfection salted duck at its best. They have other dim sum dishes all were quite good. The soup was very cleaning heartwarming too. Great for a real chinese meal. I will be sure to come back again with my mom, because she loves cod fish and this one tasted great. Oh! And the stinky tofu was really nice too. My friend and I visited Mission Garden on a Saturday night and pleasantly surprised with the food at the restaurant. Dont be fooled by the simple exterior because the restaurant inside is nicely laid out with friendly staff greeting you upon entry. We ordered the cucumber, eggplant, fish with two types of peppers and abalone with pork belly. The cucumber arrived first, super crunchy and fresh just how it should be, and eggplant next, they were both well flavoured!The fish was up next, cooked in spicy broth with a sweeter green peppers and red peppers, halved and served with tofu underneath. We also had rice noodles to go with this dish, recommended by the staff to soak up the spicy flavour goodness. This dish was very impressive and surprisingly large portion for the price! We were told it was a speciality of the restaurant and definitely recommend it. The abalone, pork belly came last and by this time we were quite full, however meat in this dish was irresistible. Very well flavoured. The abalone however could do with less sauce as it was a bit overpowering. Overall I recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to try some good quality Chinese food
