Like this place. Won tons are a must. Even as leftovers this food good. Friendly service but have been given wrong order recently, went back and showed them they apologise, but wasnt open to changing for what I paid for even though I hadnt touched the food. Needless to say, offputting, loves this place but over it
While I can’t attest to the Chop Suey or Cashew Dishes I can firmly say that the Roast meals, Fried Rice, Chow Mein, Egg Fu Yoong, Sweet and Sour and Malaysian Curry Dishes are all impeccably tasty, filled right to the brim every time and have a fair amount of meats in each dish. While sometimes the amounts of Broccoli can be a little high it is not usually a problem. My only other gripe is that sometimes that same broccoli can be a bit tough/have too much stem but this is minor and doesn’t happen very often. Overall the meals I have purchased here have been nothig less than fantastic with great service to boot. Being used to Central Auckland pricing I also feel that the prices are quite acceptable for what you get considering it is a very large box filled completely! In short I highly recommend Al’s roast and Qaio’s Chinese Takeaways to anyone wanting to try it! Solid 5/5 from me!
Love the staff here. Very kind to me. Always pleasant. Good food for good prices. I specially like the lamb and mashed potatoes! Now offer Chinese food as well! Yummy! Karen
