Not far off nailing it! Such a good spot that we love coming to when we’re in Snells. Pros – good coffee, paleo option AND it was very good, avo stack pretty good. How could it improve? Coffee was served with splatters on cup (minor I know but easily fixed!), avo was a bit bruised and hash browns and paleo bread were store bought. Overall pretty good with some easy quick fixes!
Little & Local is a great spot. My favourite has been the bacon and egg croissant; with the egg cooked just perfectly. Keep up the good work there.
I was looking forward to trying this cafe as it looked a great place to take friends and family when we are staying locally. Sadly it was not impressed. Waited a while for my beef burger. I am glad I cut it in half before eating a couple of bites. The beef pattywas slightly cooked on less than one centimetre of the outside and the rest was completely raw! If I get food poisoning I know where to send the Health Department. Giving it a rate of 1. The coffee was nice.
First time in little & local today and I won’t ever go back. They weren’t busy and we waited at least 25 minutes for a takeaway coffee and we waited so long for our cabinet food I thought they’d forgotten about it and it wasn’t worth the wait! Ordered a steak and pepper pie and a ham roll. The meat in both was chewy and the sauce in the pie was jellyfish and tasteless. Even this rating of 1 is too high but no option to put 0.
Little and Local was just what Snell’s Beach needed. This is my go to for coffee when i’m in the area. I love that you can order with almond milk as there aren’t many places in the area that do almond milk lattes.I tried the chicken burger with chunky potato fries and it was so delicious and filling. I requested for a gluten free bun and dairy free dressing and the chef was happy to create something for me. My friend had the coconut almond granola which looked amazing. The service is really friendly and every time I go I am greeted with a smile. If you are gluten free, dairy free or have any type of allergies then they are happy to change the order to accomodate you. We brung my friends dog and sat outside and they brung her a little tub with some water in it which was really nice.Next time you are in Snells Beach, check out Little and Local.
Considering we were almost the first customers through the door and it wasn’t busy, service was slow. Coffee was not great, but not bad, a bit too watery. Buckwheat pancakes were ok, didn’t come with any cream or yogurt but this was supplied when asked. Poached eggs for 3 others in the party were hard, however they did take this feedback onboard and offered to replace however time did not allow us to. A bit of fine tuning and this place could be much better.
A busy place for lunch even for a wet working day at the end of summer. The menu was limited and more focused on brunch than lunch, however there is still plenty to chose from. For me it was the Moroccan burger and chips. The chips were large cut and crispy, while the burger tasty and spicy. Service was a bit average, but the food made up for it.–Went back a few days later and had a disappointing experience. Over 33 mins for a breakfast to be served and then my poached eggs were hard boiled. Coffee was ok and the waitress did apologise for the wait and meal quality.
