The fish tasted like rubber and the oil used seems to be too old. They even didn’t provided enough quantity of chips as per the price was. And the old man, seems to be frustrated and even did not smile who was serving us. Don’t recommend this place.
I think the other reviews are out dated. The place is nice and clean, the owner is nice as well. Ordered a Giant Burger, 2 snappers and chips and they were all great!
Went to try it out after hearing all about it. Really disappointing. Ordered 3 pieces of snapper and $4 chips. Firstly, the customer service was appalling! We didn’t even get a smile out of the guy!The fish was really oily (and not to mention overpriced!). We ended up throwing the fish away because it seemed old and when we separated the batter from the fish, the fish was mostly a grey color as if it was left in the freezer for years.The shop was also very unhygienic. The oil buckets below the deep fryer looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for years. They were rusty and the oil was also very old and burnt as if it hadn’t been changed for a while.I would not recommend this takeaway shop at all.
