Probs one of the Best Chicken Salads Ive had in a While. It was filling , reasonabley priced and tasted soooo good. What the place lacked in decor it made up with this Tasty Salad which I havent had in a while since all these places where I live in Morningside charge an Arm and leg for a bit of chicken and a few leaves. Thanks team . I will be back for dinner service soon.
I know it may bit old fashion deco for people, but I love tutor style interior 🙂 great spot for catching up with friends for beer (although I don’t drink alcohol) their coffee is ok but chips is so crispy and generously portioned serving with aioli and tomato sauce. I haven’t tried their wooden fired pizza but I certainly enjoyed their $29 roast choice of beef, chicken and lamb with roast vegetable with Yorkshire pudding & delicious gravy with my friends. I really like the skytower view from outdoor seats and bar staffs are always friendly. their huge muffin and coffee is only $5 everyday which seems like best value for money!
-Tudor style decor a little dated but homely and inviting-Pizza was slightly overpriced and toppings were clumsily tossed on-Pizza tasted good but nothing amazing -staff were very friendly and even gave us some freebies to take in a doggy bag when we left
Had a fantastic dinner here last night before a play. Was surprised it was so quiet, but the service was excellent and the meals (mine – cajun chicken, his- sirloin steak, entre- garlic bread) were cooked perfectly, tasty, and well presented.This place definitely deserves more customers than it had last night. We’ll be back.
this is my first attempt at doing a babyshower at The Surrey Hotel : )Staff were awesome and absolutely the best service : ) food was presented beautiful and pink . Marieke the co ordinator for the room setup and food organisation was the best ever soooo helpful and the bar staff that helped set the drinks table were awesome and so friendly. The chef was so awesome planning and presented what i wanted even though i was a psycho over the top person . BEST PLACE FR A FUNCTION !!!
Great food and selection and great service very pleasent atmosphere. Would go back again to try out the Brunch Menu.
3 generations dined here for a family birthday. We had great meals and my gluten free mother in law was catered especially for without being made to feel it was any trouble. Thanks Surrey, keep up the great work.
