Hello,A very good evening to u. I have got a concern. I have decided to to got to bar101 on wednesday 22 feburary 2017. I showed my Id,after the security asked me about my student id. I poiletly said i dont have my student id. Then they refused my emtry becz of that. Then i clicked pictures of the bouncers and he then tried to fight and he pushed me rudley . This is not fair. If i am doing any stupid thing i am alrite with security doing anything. I wolud like to recive a response of justice. U can check cameras and u will find out.Thanks
Huge bar101 goer. Bouncer have gotten pretty rough before, drinks are cheap and music is okay. Easy to spot floor staff and have a smoking area which is a plus.Floor is always sticky with alcohol and sometimes glass, only reason I won’t give this a 5 is because the floors are never cleaned up fast and it’s a safety hazard.
I am going there from long time, but experience wasn’t up to that level. First the security need training how to talk and handle the people even they are intoxicated…Instead of letting known people or only girls in their they should focus on potential customers to run a business effectively and efficiently, anyway my experience wasn’t good. I finished work and went their to have some drinks and i was able to pay the door fee but the security is the straight up liar said to me he already said NO to me. I was like what? r u drunk or what? I just got here mate….People need positive environment instead of rude behavior. I rate 2 star cuz i went there with my whole work team once….Anyway Not going there anymore…heaps of other good bars..!
One of the worst places you can visit- bouncers very rough with people and do not know how to tell who is intoxicated and not . Also seen a lot of nasty racism at the door and hopeless.Worst of all just about every drink is under poured at this place. I told the bar girl about it and she called the bouncer to throw me out for intoxication.Would never go back to such a joke house.
My favourite club in Auckland city to come to! The bouncers do their job properly and don’t slack off unlike some other clubs. I have been quite a few times and haven’t seen or heard of any trouble happening there, it’s a fun club with awesome DJ’s and probably the cheapest drinks in town! ($3 for RTD’s) and cheap bar food too which always comes in handy as the night comes to an end.
Don’t waste your time going here. This bar enforces segregation as if we are in the 20th century. I went to this venue as a solo multiracial traveler from America. When I got to the door, the door man stated that I could not enter alone and needed to find people and go in as a group. This treatment… in such a diverse country, NZ, is appalling. I am actually happy to have spent my money elsewhere. There are such better venues in Auckland.
