First time to try this restaurant on Mothers Day. They had a special set menu on the day and we truly enjoyed the food. The salted ciabata, spaghetti bolognese, fish and chips, tuna tostada, seared duck breast, pan roasted market fish, Angus eye fillet, chocolate mousse, matcha pannacota and kueh lapis were all good. The service was fast and the staff were attentive and friendly.
This place is a Must if you want to enjoy a nice Asian fusion or a high tea experience. I have been their client since the beginning when they opened and I feel a bit sad because some of their amazing dishes in the menu got replaced. As a pasta lover used to come here for their spicy linguini with scampi ( not anymore in the menu) but now I still enjoy the cheese platers or other mains. They do a very good laksa! Prices are fair for the quality and service you get. The ambience is one of the best in Auckland. Love this place
The restaurant was quite quiet when we came for lunch last Sunday which I liked because nothing puts me off more than when you can’t head your group or even the waitress properly. I ordered the pad Thai it was delicious though slightly spicy which is not how it usually is and I wasn’t expecting. Everyone in my group thought their food was delicious. I thought everything was priced really well too
Beast & Butterflies is a M Social (part of Corpthorne group) restaurant. We had a recent function here and I’ve had the chance to try all their 3 meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner.Food: Did not even disappoint a bit. Superb quality menu offerings from their cooked breakfast to their pan fried fish and sirloin. Portions were perfect.Drinks: Great selection of drinks. They offer great coffee in the mornings for business meetings or catch ups, to after work drinks.Ambiance/Layout: Relax setting with comfy chairs and beautiful decor.Service: Most of their staff across this hotel are friendly (in fact all of them whom I’ve encountered are), however I believe that with more training, the staffs will be superstars in no time.I highly recommend this place for good quality food and even coffee catch ups.
