A quiet tuck away restaurant in the city. A great spot to study in peace that offers Chinese pastries like egg tart. You really go for the atomsphere not the food. The food was average. Sesame sauce dried noodles (6/10)Very large portions for only $13.80, perfect for a carb lover like me. The noodles were very bland, the sauce that was there turned watery but they were nice to give me a bowl of extra sauce. There was nothing special about the dish, it tastes the same as the one I made at home if I want a quick simple lunch.
A newly open restaurant in the Chancery square. Eating environment is excellent, and clean. The food tastes nice, portion is good for the price, but not very Shanghai style.
Such a yummy and interesting experience! Our favourites were the sesame rice balls and the glutinous pork rice balls The soybean soup was really interesting too! We loved trying some tasty new cuisine. Friendly staff, lovely clean premises and fantastic food presentation. Worth a visit.
Disproportionate pricing vs food quality. Their decor and dishes look pretty good but not practical. We ordered soup noodles but was given tiny wooden spoons. It looked pretty. Thats all. You try slurping soup from a shallow wooden spoon. It doesnt really work.Food all tasted pretty average. $15 for a bowl of noodles, Id have expected better though. It was way too sweet. The xiaolongbao was average too. Didnt even come with ginger vinegar.Wont be back.
