Great ambiance, delicious food, beautiful presentation! Overall, an awesome dining experience. The crab-cake is a must try! It is crispy fried but soft on the inside. Perfect combination of sweet and savory. The sauce took it to the next level.
I wish I took more photos of the food because the presentation was so beautiful! The dishes were served on banana leaf and looked so authentic. The restaurant decor is also gorgeous with paper lanterns and vintage asian style setting. We arrived after 7pm on a Saturday night and were stoked to secure a table without needing to wait. The three of us ordered a portion of the rice paper rolls, which they happily cut up and served according to our dietary requirements. The chicken salad (super fresh!), pho (mini size with tasty soup), the chicken thigh (has okra, yum!) and beef rice noodles. They beef noodles was my favourite, served deconstructed with fish sauce so you had to mix it yourself but I guess thats part of the fun!We finished our meal with their signature donuts with salted caramel sauce (pictured). Lovely service and recommended!!!
This place is small and intimate with modern decor. Food is superb, intense flavours and combinations. Great place for friend and family to catch up especially with sharing plates. You get to taste more than one dish. Food: 9/10Service: 10/10
Food was good. We ordered pork wontons, papaya salad, greens and their popular tiger prawn cutlets. In drinks we ordered spiced mule and it was average. I like chicken and there was only one chicken dish on the menu. It seems like they have recently changed their menu. In dessert we got sago mango ice cream and mango ice cream was really good but it was only tablespoon size.
Awesome little venue. Was seated at the bar area overlooking the kitchen which was fun to watch. Started with a half portion of the pork and shrimp summer roll then into the sugar cane shrimp dish. I thought the shrimp its self was abit of a let down but the dish itself with the sugar cane semi redeemed it. Last the sizzling beef this was cooked and seasoned very well and i would recommend sharing. Beer menu limited but had one i hadnt tried
Came here for an event lunch and tried a good handful of all their new menus! The rice paper rolls a great, popular starter – especially the yummy roasted pork and crispy kumera! I love the chili lime soft shell crab and tiger prawn cutlets! The seared lemon grass beef is a good portion but flavors are less exciting than the other mains, pork belly is yummy though a little dry. Favourite is the spicy salad poached chicken for sure! And of course, couldnt leave without dessert. Love the mango sago and delightful marou chocolate cremeux, so lovely. Not a bad espresso martini either!
Quick catch up here with my cousins last night. The ambience is warm and inviting, and even though it was a very warm night the space was cool enough for it to be comfortable. The cocktails are tailor made for summer! Im not usually a pear kinda gal, but the SPear me drink was unbelievably good. Food came out quickly and overall was flavourful. The summer rolls were the perfect nibble with the drinks, and the broth that came with the Lemongrass beef and noodle dish had an amazing depth of flavour. Service was efficient yet not in your face. We were nudged to leave with a bill being placed on our table very shortly after our plates were taken away, but we get it, its a busy operation and eager punters are waiting.
