I come here on the regular on Friday and Saturday nights for Shisha and light alcoholic beverages. Serai is always very busy on weekend nights.. i enjoy the atmosphere here for chilling during those nights or just before clubbing.Food wise, it is very average. I never thought any of the food had any wow factor. All very simple, and average. The food also takes a very long time to be served..
Caravanserai is a busy weekend restaurant and bar located in chancery square with special guest DJs and cafe during the day. The location is very pretty at night with fairy lights and offers a variety of drinks and Mediterranean dishes. The pastas are lightly seasoned and I often add extra salt or pepper, however the portions are good. The shish chicken is another go-to menu item 4/5. Overall the service is often lacking, meal wait times are quite long however it is a nice place to chill.
Dined here several times for drinks, shisha, and of course the food! I really enjoy their pornstar martinis, so bomb! This time sampled the Peking duck pizza and arancini balls. Enjoyed the arancinis the pizza seemed to be lacking in duck and Peking flavours. Shisha is usually good, staff are always at hand to help out if and when it starts getting too harsh.Definitely will be back for more as it situation well in the city, away from the streets and always a popular destination and very friendly vibes from customers and staff.
I had high hopes for hopes for this place but was gravely disappointed. My wine glass was really dirty, the food was stale, the service was really slow considering there were only 2 other diners and a handful on shisha outside.
Came here for drinks with friends. The service was shocking. We placed our orders with the first guy who came to our table. And one friend asked if they had a desert menu. The guy said he didn’t know but would check. He never came back.. the guy came back after a while and said they could not make a normal martini but could make an espresso martini. My husband said not to worry about it. A while later a girl brought the drinks over except mine. She asked if that was all and I said no I ordered the rose serai cocktail. She went away and came back a few minutes later and asked again what I wanted, this pissed me off but I showed her again on the menu. The drink came out a while later and it was average, nothing special. Would never come here again due to terrible service
