A cute little sushi shop tucked away I the Queens arcade. They offer quite a wide variety of sushis, and deep fried snacks (spring rolls, dumplings, prawn tempura, shu mai etc).They also do katsu styled dishes although, and donburis.Their sushi is decent – it could do with a little less rice, but it still has an acceptable ratio of rice and filling for me. I like their deep fried snacks, and mainly go there for the snacks.Price wise, it is definitely on the expensive side so be prepared to pay more than what you might get at other places.Overall a decent place, but not quite value for money.
Been here many times with my sister. Love the chicken katsu with udon or rice. Chicken katsu is good overall. Sushi. Delicious. Staff here are friendly too. 🙂
The sushi is really yummy, and they have a great choice of fresh options in cabinets as well as a bunch of fried treats on sticks like chicken, gyoza etc.I noticed they had a $7 Ramen on the menu and being the gigantic Ramen fan that I am decided to order it.I was super disappointed 🙁 it made me sad because I was really looking forward to it but the flavour of the broth was really gross and it was just lacking in all departments. Best sushi!. Oh my gosh, I can’t even describe how good this sushi is. I recently started going to one Auckland city sushi chain and raved about it to all my co-workers… now I’m telling them all to go to Choice Sushi instead! Small shop in Queens Arcade but they have quite a bit of seating outside in the arcade too. So many awesome flavours, super fresh and at a great price (roughly $1.00 to $1.50 per piece).. you won’t be disappointed!
