Absolutely amazing food. My husband almost wept on the first bite. Super personal and friendly service from someone who clearly loves her work and delights in her cooking. This is the real deal.

This has now become my favorite restaurant in Auckland. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Phenomenal would be an understatement actually. Both Anna and Maria Pia were so nice. You felt as if you were invited into a Italian Moms home. My husband and I ordered the Bruschetta to start which was delicious. Then we had the Alfredo & Pizza for our main which was absolutely spectacular. Best Ive ever had. Lastly, …. the dessert… was.. heavenly.Ill be back very very soon!! By far thee best restaurant in Auckland and thee best Italian food Ive ever had!!!

Okay, so tonight my sisters and I were left feeling fairly disappointed with our visit to Di Vino Bistro for dinner. So disappointed that well have to make it our first and last visit here. There are a number of reasons why weve come to this decision including and not limited to;1) It took almost 2hrs to get our appetisers and mains to our table by which time we ran out of patience to even bother ordering desserts. In fact the older sis was so tired and eager to get home that she walked off to address the bill whist still chewing down the last bite of her main/dinner. 2) Simply not enough staff. It was almost a full house inside and the outside area had a couple. There was 1 and a half waiter/cashier which included the owner and her child who looked like he is still in High School. So Im guess after school job? Really hope he gets paid and doesnt have to work every night. 3) There was another even younger looking child sitting near the entrance who appeared to be still in Primary School. He sat there on a phone/iPad the 2 odd hours we were there and only God knows since when and remained till what time. Not ethical or moral.4) Food was delicious. However, the wait simply makes you lose your appetite. Also one of the pasta dishes had a bite to it so a little under even after more than one whole hours wait. As for my dish, ordered chicken alfredo which on the menu read to include pasta, chicken and mushroom. Literally despite the lovely taste, my dish had 3 small sorry pieces of chicken I kid you not. As for mushroom, 1 super thin slice not even a proper piece. What you see in the pic was it. My dish also arrived with a spoon…what purpose it had there, I am not too sure because there was literally no sauce. Dont give me a spoon when there is no sauce to pick it up with!!! There were a few more things but I think Ive mentioned enough. I normally dont take this much time out to write out a review and only when it truely deserves it (good or bad). I am sorry but the owners need to pick up their game. Across the restaurant there seemed to be a lot of disappointed faces which is just not good enough.

Found this little gem through first table and gave it a go, holy moly I am so glad that I did! While the atmosphere is a little odd and a little claustrophobic, this barely matters when it comes to the service and the food . The menu is rather large but in a way which guarantees everyone will find a favourite. With traditional Italian food all the way I was a fan right there and then. We went all the way with an antipasto platter, mains, drinks and desserts – because why the heck not! . While the presentation is slightly uninspiring, the food is a work of art in terms of flavour and texture. Let your taste buds take you to Venice or Rome as you lick your plate clean. The price point is amazing even with no special deal! I will 100% be coming back asap . Overall I’d recommend this place for couples on a budget.

Disgusting food and a disgusting owner, don’t waste your money or time here!!!! Dirty back alley restaurant with no style or customer service skills. Oh and the owner is a fake Italian.
