NOTEWORTHY. Their service was impeccable and very attentive. Even though there was a rowdy crowd sitting next to us (that had a few too many and teased the waiter), he handled them very professionally. Unfortunately though regarding their food, it was kind of lacking considering theyre a top tier restaurant (with the exception of the oysters which were the freshest oysters Ive ever had in Auckland). We wanted to avoid ordering the usual steaks and salmon as theyre roughly the same everywhere. In the end we got the Bream Bay Scallops on Squid Ink Linguine which was great, but not amazing. The fresh scallops was the best part of the dish but there just wasnt enough. Thankfully the squid ink made up for it, being so creamy and full of flavour. Sadly we couldnt even finish the duck as it was a bit overcooked and I think it had mandarin skin(?) in the sauce which was very bitter and overpowering. Overall we agreed it was a nice but not exceptional dinner. Perhaps it was our own fault for not ordering the classics, but hey, if its on the menu, considering their reviews, then it should be good right? Perhaps Ill visit again for the classics since the service was awesome and Id love to give them a second chance given their high rating. Theyre located in an awesome area by the viaduct with an amazing view.

Been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both my experiences.The service here is lovely and the food is amazing. The atmosphere is very fitting for the Viaduct – almost feels like youre on a cruise. My favourite dish so far is definitely the duck confit – but there are so many other dishes they are amazing like the scallop entree. Highly recommended to come here especially for a nice occasion.
Everything was good u til the waitress started being rude. Something happened to her halfway and she was grumpy as. It was valentines and we really didnt need her attitude. So unfortunately 2/5 Otherwise 4/5
Really good view, came here for lunch, ordered heaps of food. Love the whitebait egg fritter amd truffle gravy, quite yummy and suitable for kids.
Excellent staff and food. Service was great and food was delicious.The Peking duck taco from the lunch menu was surprisingly authentic. I really enjoyed this entree.The steak was cooked to the perfect degree we asked for and charred for great texture.The potato pure and gravy also highly recommended.Our server was kind and polite.Would return.
