This is one of the best coffee place in Auckland. I really enjoyed the environment with the creative art, especially the Star Wars collection. Guerilla Espresso has the full package, great friendly staff, 5 star service, cosy environment. Highly recommended to everyone!
Aside from the awesome blackboard wallpaper and the sick wall art which is refreshed almost every time I go in, the quirky and fun team at Guerilla Espresso knows how to make a decent cup of coffee.Some of you might know this place as it was, the coffee school, but it’s under new (and better management) and I feel like this place is emitting much better vibes, just a general exuberance of happiness from morning to early afternoon which, let’s face it, is just a fundamental component for success.Coffee machine here run by a two man team on most days, espresso, and milk, min/maxing that efficiency and speed to ensure you get the consistent quality with greater speed because, who likes to wait.They also have a selection of food items for sale which get changed up regularly to keep you guessing, but they are all good from my experience so variety is not a bad thing here.You can also sit down for a drink and a slow/quick/long/short chat, I’ve had a few business meetings here and have never felt like I didn’t have my own space, I appreciate that.It’s worth a visit, whether you work in the area or you’re just passing by, make a quick stop and get amongst it, except for weekends, don’t go weekends. They closed 🙂
One of my favourite spots for a quick coffee, very quick turnover and lovely service. I like the idea behind the donation for a coffee but more than happy to pay full price for their coffee

This is my regular coffee place. Not only is the coffee excellent and the food superb, the staff just add a whole new level. Really enjoy the banter every time I visit.
This is a place where baristas are trained, there are no fixed prices for coffee but they do suggest paying $4 and above to meet costs. Really cool idea, the staff were really knowledgable and there is a great selection of organic and gluten free food in the cabinet. I had a soy latte and it was ok- but let’s be honest, soy lattes are always hit and miss! Would definitely come back. Maybe will cave and order regular milk!
