Recently stayed at the Copthorne and had meals at Jimmy’s. I had a pleasant experience. it wasn’t super busy any of the days I was there. Food was not just the usual kiwi faves like steak and chips, though I had steak and chips. Flavours are nicely paired up. I had their risotto one night which was delicious. All main meals come with veges on the side. Really enjoyed the 36 hour cured Salmon.
The breakfast options of cooked and continental are quite good.I also had dinner here. I had the burger which was not advertised as having bacon but served with it nonetheless. This would probably a pleasant surprise for some, but not for others like myself who don’t like pork.
