Dined here on Saturday night. Restaurant was VERY busy so glad I made a booking. Due to the business, service was very slow. Waited 15 minutes until we went and flagged someone down to take our order, which was three dinner boxes and karage chicken. Waited half an hour for dinner to be served. The food was amazing and we all left very full.
First time at this restaurant on a business/celebration Lunch with a few colleagues. As soon as we enter,we knew that this lunch was going to be something special.Amazing design reminding the Japanese tea rooms and awesome service.We had the teriyaki chicken and spicy pork bentos,the kushi plate with yankiniku and some gyoza and veggies1 for starters which were all very good.Highly recommended right in Auckland CBD.
This is my favourite place in town for lunch. Dinner here is great too but the lunch deal is amazing. Great quality Japanese food, with an amazing selection and fast service. I had the Kushi lunch special of tonkatsu with deep fried calamari and karaage chicken. Let me tell you the Karaage chicken here is to die for. It has a delicious crunchy coating with juicy tender chicken inside. The lunch version is smaller while the dinner version has more. Either way is it a must have dish for me whenever I come here.
This place is hidden away off queen street and is an amazing place. The ambience is really nice and so is the food! Presentation is also A+ so great for your instagram!
