Delicious Mexican food at affordable prices! Been coming here regularly for a couple of years now and their food, service and ambience haven’t changed at all. Their $10 lunch deals are very filling and tasty. Staff are also friendly and approachable.
I use to really enjoy coming here for their happy hour on a regular basis – $5 wines and cheap deals on their snack food. The nachos use to be great however last time I had them they were overloaded with cheese and very little else. Same with the tacos salads, use to be good but the last time I ordered it there was about a spoonful of beans (vegetarian option) and the rest was mainly shredded lettuce. Gave the restaurant yet another hopeful attempt last Friday, ordering the fish tacos. Decent size but again very basic tacos not much flavour and found the batter in particular to be very tasteless. This place has a lot of potential with the location and space however is let down by the blandness and basic ness of the food, dont expect anything high quality here. Not only that but the service can be pretty poor as well. as it was on Friday night when they completely forgot our drinks order. Wont be coming back again.
Vegetarian nachos (6.5/10)Unfortunately recently the prices have all gone up and the portions have shrunk. They also got rid of the guacamole The dish took 40mins to come out..Vegetarian quesadilla (2/10)I can never imagine paying $25 for a quesadilla and a drink. They toasted the tortilla separately not flat grill them together. There were no vegetables inside only guacamole and no cheese. When I ate it all the guacamole dipped out. *They now got rid of the prawn taco salad * ..The mussels were beautifully flavoured with a tangy onion and tomato salsa. It’s mussel season (I think) so they were nice and fat. Though their menu now is overpriced.
