I was craving peri peri! Thats when I went here! Really enjoyed the chicken strips. Would definitely come back for more!The staff was very helpful and kind. I was not sure of what to order, they suggested and helped me very nicely! They had a lot of options of sauces. That were so tempting and tasted as good.
Sadly the meal was below average. The chicken was quite dry and fries were super soggy. The vegetarian paella was disappointing and quite spicy. It had one or two pieces of mushrooms and chunks of mashed chickpea patties. The rice was hard and not soft like the traditional paella.
Tastes like how Nandos should taste! Got the periperi chips and i particularly like the way this was presented. Somewhat unique. I don’t remember exactly what it’s called but i remember it being very delicious.Sometimes, the chicken lacks a bit of flavour but they have complimentary sauces which is good.
Had to order a classic; the fllame grilled peri peri chicken in mild; chicken was soft with bursting flavor from the sauce, not dry and tender to bite. Tangy taste, not spicy at all and we were served two pieces of chicken. 8/10Peri peri chips; not the crunchiest fries out there, were soft and really average with exception of the spices that gave it somewhat of a flavor. Not my spoon of chips but my friend did enjoy!5/10Ive also been here another time and ordered the chicken which were up to expectation and the bbq ribs. The ribs didnt really stand out to me, there was a lot of meat and it quickly tasted bland. (But to be fair it took me a while before I realized it was still chicken! Did anyone else not realize that?? Just me? Okay.)I love that they serve everything with the cute toothpick and flag, also quickly mention that the seating is expansive and comfy, also welcoming and well lit.
