Everyone at the restaurant seemed to ordering the same dishes, black sauce noodles and sweet and sour pork which appears to be their specialty. The restaurant is clean, simple and cosy, and the pork was really tasty!

I have been so excited to come here since I love black bean noodles.Service: 7/10The service was surprising good considering asian restaurants arent typically focused on providing the customers with great service. The waitress that seated us was super nice and gave us the menus, and patiently waited as we couldnt make up our minds. She also brought us the side dishes and water. When I stood up to get napkins she quickly ran over to help me.The staff were all cheerful and nice, which was a nice surprise.Food: 7/10I only ordered the jajangmyeon since I wasnt hungry, but I wanted noodles. The noodles were a little too much on the chewy side for me, but they provide you with scissors so they are easier to eat. There are quite a lot of onions in the sauce but I love onions so it didnt bother me. I wouldve liked it more if there were a variety of vegetables. They actually dont give you that much actual sauce so it was a little hard to mix the noodles. The pickled radish was light and crunchy to cleanse the palate.Ambiance: 4/10The restaurant isnt located on the main part of lorne street so its a little hard to find. You can spot the lanterns and traditional doorway from quite awhile away. Even though the restaurant is upstairs, it doesnt feel too hot or too stuffy. The area is quite small so it can get quite noisy inside. The brown and old seating doesnt feel very enlightening, and it also doesnt suit the white walls and atmosphere. This is probably the best place for korean Chinese food in the city, but I know of other places that are better.
