Ordered the spinach beef noodles and salt and pepper chicken with bones from uber eats. The spinach noodles were good, the texture was springy and had a bite to them. The salt and pepper chicken that arrived was boneless? Not necessarily a bad thing I guess, just not what I ordered or expected but Im not really bothered by it. The chicken was coated in some panko like crumb. It was decent if a little dry.
Nice little dumpling eatery in Queen Rise. You can choose what type of dumplings you want and they are cooked for you right there. There are also other food options on the menu you can order e.g. the clay-pot rice which is one of my favourites. It gets very crowded here during lunch time but that’s understandable as this is Queen St but the flip-side is that the service you receive maybe compromised. Not a bad place to try out some authentic Chinese dumplings if you are around the area 🙂

Got the braised beef noodles – it wasnt as good as other food places & more expensive too which is why it gets 3/5. Prefer the dumplings from this place. But the ambience of this place is really cute!!
Located inside Queens Rise, Panda is literally a step away from Queen Street and easy to get to (not including city parking, but can you do?). They have a good range of noodles, dumplings and snacks and prices are okay. We ordered the siu mai (priced instore) and steamed dumplings (12 for $10) which were hand-made and delicious. Staff were friendly and more than happy to discuss their wares. The seating is open plan, meaning you can sit with friends that order from different restaurants inside, but make sure to get there before or after the dinner/lunch rush.
As soon as you enter, a Chinese bicycle hanging 10 feet high on the walk over the background of newspapers catches your eye and sets the mood for an authentic Asian dining experience and Panda follows up quite well on the promise.I’ve tried multiple dishes here and would highly recommend their wife range of dumpling collection. Although, I did not like the fried rice much, it was very oily and bland when compared to other dishes that one has here, which ooze flavors.
| Vegetarian dumplings |-The dumplings (5.5/10) from Panda are average, not much flavor and there was a lot of wrapper in relation to the filling. However the chilli oil really saved the dish. It’s ashame how they microwave there dumplings before serving..The buns we’re disappointing, the bun was warm- cold and egg yolk custard filling was not even slightly runny.
